Our Senior Leadership Advocacy Team is composed of a team of executives who have held illustrious careers within the United States Department of Government, including the Department of Defense (DoD), and FEDCIV Agencies.  At a state level, LSI’s executives have vast knowledge and experience with agencies inside and outside of the public sector. 

 LSI’s network is founded on key relationships with both Federal and State Administration policy makers as well as House and Senate members and staff.  

Legislative and Executive Branch Strategy: 

We have developed an advocacy and partnership approach with federal and state lawmakers and executive branch agency personnel. Our process assists clients in establishing and cultivating relationships with key decision makers in the following ways:

Advising and Advocating 

LSI provides clients with advising and avocation through the maintenance of relationships and by identifying key delegations with Federal, State, and Administrative personnel.  This includes (but is not limited to): 

• Congressional and Legislative Delegations and their staff through seniority leverage. This includes Committees, Caucuses, and contacts. DOD, FEDCIV, and State key personnel and their leadership. 

• Key Members/Senators, their staff, and relevant congressional/legislative committees, Caucuses, CRS and the GAO. 
• Associations, interest groups and coalitions, including regular liaison with policy leaders

Monitor, Report and Support  

LSI monitors, reports, and provides support for clients by (but not limited to): 

• Reviewing federal and state executive proposals and legislation
• Analyzing  President’s/Governor’s budget requests and client impact 
• Drafting letters and testimony (Executive Branch and Congress) 
• Preparing correspondence, forms or documentation required by Federal and State entities for specific requests. 

• Managing client impact by reviewing proposed and adopted Federal and State regulations 
• Communicating evolving information and outcomes with the client
• Providing  weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly activity reports with clients
